Out holding Shuragai, next to Gibralter. I picked up the jagged base of an exploded Mills grenade on the way home. Letter from Mhairi last night and Toby is on his way out to Ahomanygen. Manbray also on his way to plant tea in Assam, so I may see him there yet. I hear that Hugh has had his first crash (motor smash) and broke his arm, being now (then, at time of writing) in Cranwell Hospital. There is a type of crow or shite hawk here that always cries “Hang on, Hang on”.
